MOSQUITO
(for Malaria)
If they didn’t have a purpose they would not be here. What if their
purpose all along has been to unite mankind? Unite us to stand
together to put an end to Malaria and similarly transmitted diseases.
To remind us that we truly are brothers and sisters of humanity,
no matter our genetics or the color of our skin. To wake us up
just a little to the knowing that we really are one family.
The family of man.
What if, by our thankfulness for this gift of awakening they bring, we can
transcend the negative perception of a mosquito? What if, just maybe,
if we send them our love and thanks for this gift, it could
change things? What if they could transmit immunities as easily
as they now transmit disease?
A Malaria free world is possible.
Our first step is to recognize that it is WE who have the ability to end
the suffering. WE, who, have the knowledge to find a cure. There are
drugs that can save lives. There are scientists working on a cure.
They need our help.
May Malaria one day be nothing more than a word
in our history pages. May there one day be a cure that is free from the
spraying of toxic chemicals into our precious water supply. A cure
born of intention. Intention to change how we see our role in all
creation and to free ourselves and our homes of “DIS” “EASE”

our own neighbors, our own families.

for the wellness and growth of others. The INUKSHUK was used
as a beacon, to act as a guide to indigenous people.
It directed them to where they may best find shelter, water and food.
Its PURPOSE? SUPPORT for the survival and well being of ALL.
What if WE hold sacred space for the WELLNESS and GROWTH of each other?
It does not require any special training, just INTENTION.
What if the next time you encounter someone who seems
emotionally/mentally challenged or even just a little down, you sent them
a silent intention of love and healing for whatever it is they need to be well?
You don’t have to know what the “it” is. No one even need know you sent it.
What if you did this to 5 people a day?
What would the WORLD look like if EVERYONE did this?
We ALL have a PURPOSE for being here. How will we ever know
the GIFT that each of us bring if we turn our backs on those that
seem a little off to us? It is time to LET GO of the
STIGMA around mental illness. How can we hope for a better
world for our children if we don’t participate in making
a BETTER WORLD for ourselves TODAY?

In the USA more people die from SUICIDE
than Cancer, Homicide, or HIV/AIDS
90% of those suicides are associated with Mental Illness.
