Where does the money go?

How do we know the charities you donate to are actually getting the money to the people in need? There has been much scandal in the media of late.

Hmmmmmmmmmm, Tattoo's are really cool but I'd have to be seriously passionate about the cause. I love the idea of something a person actually wants to wear. I mean lots of people donate to charity but how fashionable really is one of those little pink or yellow ribbons. They really don't add to any of my outfits so the metal is just wasted because I'll never wear those pins. This is cool! Good luck with your project!

Hi,
I'm the human that was gifted with a universal download to bring these necklaces into creation. I didn't set out in life to be a necklace designer. In fact I think the last thing this earth needs is more stuff and bobbles to wear so I was more surprised than anyone to find myself sitting on the side of a mountain at a conference ignoring the speaker and basically just tuning out when the next thing I know I'm doodling the first design and writing the text for the card that it comes in. The first design was for Malaria. I don't even live in a country that has Malaria! We are lucky to get 6 weeks of summer each year never mind a mosquito related disease problem where I live. When I told some people at the conference what happened and that I knew I was supposed to go home and do this one woman started to cry. OK so I know I was moved to have found a calling but what was she crying about?? She proceeded to tell me that she had a new brother. He had just arrived 2 weeks prior from.............Africa. What I didn't know was that she was supposed to have had 2 new brothers but in the 2 years of red tape it took her family to go through to adopt these twin boys from Africa, one of them died from Malaria. Talk about confirmation! and thus was born Linked for a Cause.
